Leo Club of SMK Jalan Arang, Kuching, which is one of the Leo Clubs under District 308-A2, Region 1, Zone 2, was officially formed on the 16th of July 2004 under the sponsoring Lions Club - Lions Club of Kuching Ixora. The club runs smoothly with the endless support from the sponsoring club especially the Leo Advisors and continuous guidance and advice from the Faculty Advisors.
With the hard work of the chartered Board of Directors and past Board of Directors especially the three key officers, the club has been awarded since the charter year 2004 with Merit Club Awards under the leading of the Charter President, Leo Kho Yap Leong. The second award of the club is the Outstanding Club Awards (Fiscal Year 2005/2006) under the presidential year of Past President Leo Chua Soon Ho. The club secretary of the same Fiscal Year, Past President Leo Kelvin Chong was given an award - Outstanding Leo Secretary Awards (Fiscal Year 2005/2006). For Fiscal Year 2006/2007, Leo Club of SMK Jalan Arang achieves the Excellent Club Awards (Fiscal Year 2006/2007) under the leading of Past President Leo Kelvin Chong. The boll keeps on rolling to achieve another Excellent Club Awards (Fiscal Year 2007/2008) under the hard work of the Immediate Past President Leo Chai Chiau Hung and her board of directors. The past generations has been giving a solid foundation to the club to keep on shining.
